In Search of the Soul

It's the early morning. I'm sitting at my desk within the back room of the Railroad Club. I have just wrapped up my next book and am smiling in happy contemplation of it all. Of course, I still have to go over it and check it for grammatical issues. I do all my own work on that front, and I guess it shows. Sorry about that.

Miss Silky and I have been having a lot of talks lately. We're very close now. She has some insights into my own imagination. There is a change, perhaps a small one, that the books that I am writing are having an influence over the events happening in Scritch City. She also pointed out that my moods may be affected by actions and events happening outside the realm of what can be seen and felt.

Really, I am trying not to let it go to my head. But I really am starting to come to terms that there may be something to me. When I consider the three whom I said had souls, I feel a kinship with them. A love that goes beyond what I can see and hear. It's strange. I barely know the likes of Quentin and Daxter... and Aloe. Yet I feel like I should be helping them. I suppose that's why I jumped at the opportunity to brand Quentin a hero. I still feel bad that it upset him like it did. Sorry.

I've been doing a bit of soul searching. Actual... real... soul searching. I'm trying to find out who is real and who isn't. I mean... if you have no soul, how can you be real? I see you more as a guest of sorts. But if you have a soul, there is a whimsy about you. It makes you more interesting. So I have been looking for others who may possess souls.

When I was with the dragons, I was driven to my brink. I became lost within the quiet of my own mind. There were doors. Doors that, when opened, led to information about the universe itself. I only opened three of them. But there were more. My point is that I think there are more influential people out there... with souls. I don't know their names yet.

But if I am holding this world together somehow, these soulful people... are not within that control. They do as they will. Part of it is scary. I worry that they may come after me or try and control me. But then I really would rather try and embrace them. Maybe clear the way for them. Change the world so that it works better for them.

Here is a request for anyone reading this blog: Have you or anyone you know met someone that just seems different? They seem to act more wildly than other people do? They seem to break the rules, as it were? If you think you know someone like this, point me in a direction. Let me see if I can talk to them and ascertain the truth for myself. What we may discover relates to the ancient mysteries of life and the universe itself. What is real? What is false? Why not open this new door... and just... take a gander or two?

As far as the identity of my new book, I won't be revealing it until it is ready for publish. That may be a while. For now, I point you in the direction of my last published book The Nom Nom Chronicles. Here is some information:

My Interview with Musty

Buddy Tippet: While I am still staying at the Railroad Club, I ran into one of the regulars. He is a ferret by the name of Musty. I had, a while back, mentioned that I wanted to interview him. I am with him now. Thank you for sacrificing your time, Musty.

Musty: It's my pleasure. I enjoy your blog. I spend a lot of time going over it.

BT: Wonderful. Now, you are one of Scritch City's most prominent entrepreneurs. Care to toot your own horn?

Musty: Yes, I am the owner and manager of the Fidgety Ferret at the Pavilion. We are the city's best and most famous brothel. We have quite a lot to choose from. Our girls and guys are fun and interesting and always well behaved. A character from your story works there too.

BT: Which one?

Musty: ❤ Garry ❤.

BT: He works at a brothel? Is he a dom?

Musty: Full, complete, and utter sub. He loves working there and always does as he is told. I rather enjoy talking to him on a rainy day.

BT: Do you ever spend time with your employees?

Musty: Not in a sexual way. I tend to get a little nervous in those sorts of situations. Not that I don't find it sexy, but I'm more the type to go into a room alone and just beat one off. I know that sounds bizarre, but I prefer that my relationship with them be more like friends than as kinky lovers.

BT: You seriously never have sex with them?

Musty: No.

BT: How can you live that way? I saw that skunk with you in the dining hall. She was drop-dead gorgeous. She even looked like she was flirting with you.

Musty: Kammie flirts with everyone. I have to get her to stop sometimes. She isn't as bad as [NAME REDACTED BY REQUEST]. She's the real trouble maker. Always offering freebies without asking me first. I am in business to make money.

BT: The readers can't see this, but I just want to point out how utterly calm and tranquil you are. You're talking about sexual things as if its nothing at all to you.

Musty: I'm a stoic.

BT: Obviously.

Musty: It all still affects me, but I just am uncomfortable showing what's inside to people. Not even to my girls. Like I said, I usually just end up masturbating alone.

BT: What are the prices like at the Fidgety Ferret?

Musty: 4W for one fuck. An all-nighter is available for 7W. 2W for any extra girls in the room.

BT: Expensive. For people living outside of SC, 1 W is roughly equivalent to $20-$30. A bit hard to explain, so that's the gist of it.

Now, I wanted to bring up the real elephant in the room. You know what I am talking about, right?

Musty: Yes, I am sad to say that Ferros is my brother.

BT: I am so sorry.

Musty: We just never saw eye to eye on things. He was always a hothead and I was always the stoic. I feel bad that things have gone this way. I knew he was a pervert, but there are so many better ways to get sex other than rape and abuse.

BT: Do you ever talk to him anymore?

Musty: He hasn't talked to me since they sent him to jail. I know he's out for some reason now, but he still isn't talking to me. It's kind of driven my own mother a little crazy too.

BT: Not talking to her either.

Musty: Sometimes I do. She comes into the club sometimes, but between you and me, I think something is wrong with her. I've tried to get her help, but she always refuses.

BT: Is she dangerous?

Musty: Her name is Ashley... and... maybe. All I know is that she loves Ferros more than me. And that's fine. I found love in other ways. I've moved on. Just disappointing. Either way, if you've made contact with my mother, I wouldn't let her into your home or anything. Just be nice and ask her to leave. Everything should be okay otherwise.

BT: Musty, thank you so much for agreeing to this interview. I hope to maybe have a talk with one or more of your girls too.

Musty: I think I can arrange that. Good advertising opportunity. And of course, it was a pleasure to be here.

Quentin Responds About His Heroic Actions

I have a very open policy when it comes to a right of reply. After I posted the last blog, Quentin ended up formally contacting me. He has written up an official response of which I will now deliver to you without any extra commentary:

Ferros was not in his right state of mind during the incident. You can confirm this with Miss Silky. Apparently some kind of event has caused a recent outbreak of mass psychological disruption. Ferros was victim to this as well. He is currently recovering, and is back to himself. You can also confirm this with Miss Silky. I am reviewing laboratory security protocols to deal with any future incidents before they can balloon out of hand. Mass psychological disruption was an unforeseen risk, and will not be one in the future.

While Ferros was acting on his own, he was only able to cause so much mayhem because he got his hands on some prototype technology we are currently working on. While I wish the best for the family, and will be working with them soon, I headed to the scene both to extract Ferros and to recover the prototype before it was left in the wrong hands for too long. I arrived as soon as I pinned down his location, and would have arrived just as soon even if it weren't so much in my self interest. I had to leave in part because he was an unwitting information leak that needed to be plugged as soon as possible.

I can confirm that I was there, and I was not alone. I cannot spare any more details about this right now. I would have liked to save all of these details for when I was ready to release this to the public. All I will say is that I will be offering a service to Scritch City soon. My projected time frame is within a week. I will be willing to have a follow-up statement or interview once I have given a public reveal.

Quentin is a Bona Fide Hero

While I was researching this crazy night/morning that just happened, I found out something really amazing. Ferros, the ferret fugitive that attacked Doctor Brady, ended up in some feline family's cabin north of Scritch City. Apparently he did some pretty horrible things to the family there which consisted of a loving husband and wife and two children.

I'm not allowed to release their names, but I do know that the reason they left Scritch City was to get away from the hedonist system that had been inviting a negative influence into their household. Moving away doesn't seem to have helped. Ferros apparently was not only violent with them but sexually aggressive.

Now although we cannot 100% confirm that Quentin was there, we do have reports that the family was rescued by a green fox. According to their account, he simply walked in there, knocked Ferros out with tranquilizer darts, made sure they were all all right, and then went right on his way. It was an in and out mission for Quentin, and we all should be very impressed.
\
Still, I do want to point out something about this uptight family. Christians probably. Ferros, as horrible as he is, sounds like he was just having some fun. My only issue with the little twerp is that he sounds like he lost his fucking mind. We're hedonists, but we are a level headed bunch. Ferros needs to be placed somewhere where he won't upset the balance Miss Silky has provided this city.

At this point, I'm not sure what Quentin has done with Ferros. What I do know is that Miss Silky has called the police off on him. He's Quentin's responsibility now. And if Quentin wants to tell us what the story is, he can contact me personally.

As for the anonymous family, I'd recommend getting much farther away from our city. Bad things can happen twice, and the majority of us here are not going to care when it does. Just a friendly warning. You're in the spotlight now. Move away.

As an aside, I am in the process of wrapping up a new book. Can't tell you anything about it yet, but it may still be delayed a bit more as I am waiting for a friend to become available for drawing covers for me again. Either way, I still have four books available for sale. Why not try my most recent one, The Nom Nom Chronicles. Here is some information:

A Little Bit of Chaos in Scritch City

Holy crap. I just found out about a bunch of crazy stuff that happened very recently in Scritch City. Apparently sometime last night and leading into the morning, there were like eight car wrecks, twenty shootings, six deaths, break ins at the museum and other places. I think there might have been at least two explosions too. What the actual fuck?

But wait, there's more. Apparently there was an altercation at the Church of the Fairy Ermine. Quentin was attacked by one or more individuals, and the police were called. I don't know much more than that, but it sounds like it must have been crazy.

I would have posted something about this earlier, but I've been a wreck for the last few days... or... wait... Sorry, my concept of time is messed up. All I know is that I missed this... really crazy night/ morning.

Apparently the whole thing with Ferros happened around this time as well. I asked Miss Silky about it and she called it... and I am not sure what this means... but she used the word "conjunction." I know Scritch City is a crazy place, but it sounded like all the safeties went off for a moment. Not sure what to make of it.

I'll get to the bottom of it. I just need to ask some questions and make some calls. I have a feeling that a lot more than what I have mentioned here actually happened. There's a lot of missing details. If any of you reading this blog wants to report something, just send me a message. Thanks!

Also you should check out my book Vox Deus which also has a lot of crazy moments in it. It's full of many types of sexual fetishes all mashed together into one huge book. Try it out!
