A Strange Light

Further detective work on the strange phenomenon that happened recently has come through. There was indeed a loud BOOM! sound near the place where the ball of light was seen. People closer to ground zero also heard a lot of other sounds. One person described it as the screaming of an old man... which is oddly specific.

The police scoured the area. They did find something. It wasn't a transformer. The area where the light appeared was scorched with a very specific shape. It was in the shape of a door apparently. [I am so sorry that I do not have a picture of this.] They wouldn't have thought it was a door shape if it wasn't for the clear imprint of a doorknob and even some hinges burned into the ground.

So what the heck is going on? Seriously, this has me spooked. I could not even begin to tell any of you what is going on. Nobody has been found in connection to this. We have a better view of the morning it happened, but what the actual fuck, man?!

I did get a few emails from concerned citizens. A few new pictures as well. There were some security cameras that caught the initial flash. I also have a sound clip of the noise it made but from a distance. Sadly... my blogging service cannot post sounds, but I'll be happy to upload it to another service and link you over to it.

Pertaining to the Strange Event

Everyone in Scritch City just recently experience a power outage that lasted for about two minutes. It happened to me too. But if you were outside when this happened, you might have noticed a bright light that was visible from the mid-eastern district of SC. We think it happened somewhere just south of the Pavilion. A lot of reports seem to suggest that.

The light itself seemed to occur at ground level. So far, nobody seems to have been present at the exact coordinates of the strange event. The police are are currently on the case. I've been doing what I can to find pictures or video of the happening, but it's still a bit early.

Miss Silky has politely asked that everyone stay indoors, if you can, while the SCPD sort this out. Who knows, it might be nothing more than an exploding transformer. There were some reports of a loud bang that went along with it. But the light itself seems to have been, based on multiple accounts, extremely bright like a great hovering ball.

Why don't we all just take a deep breath and just let the police do their job. They are here to protect us from danger. But still, if any of you have any information on what the heck happened, send me a private email. I can be contacted at BuddyTippet@gmail.com. I'll be happy to post any photos you find, although they always get fucked up for some reason. But I'll do my best to clear it up.

While we are here, take a moment to check out my very first book, Pack Rats of The Inside. Here is some info to help you out:

My Interview with Xavier

Buddy Tippet: You may or may not have heard of this guy. His name is Xavier, and he is in charge of much of the land development happening all around Scritch City. He was also the sole designer of the Pavilion. So there are a lot of credits under his belt as far, as this city is concerned. Welcome to my little room in the Railroad Club, Mister Xavier.

Xavier: Pleased to be here, Mr. Tippet. Consider me a fan of the blog. Glad to see you are back at the keyboard.

BT: Thank you. Now, I need to explain to everyone that Xavier is a dragon, but he is not a part of the group of dragons that hail from the Predatory Union. He is a longtime resident of Scritch City, in fact.

Xavier: Yes, Scritch City is my home. I do make frequent contact with the PU. I have family there.

BT: You are but one of a number of dragons who have taken residence here.

Xavier: One of many.

BT: But I would say that few have contributed as much to this city as you. Even the Railroad Club is credited to you.

Xavier: And I love this building very much. I have always favored the atmosphere of a smooth jazz club. Also I love your new trumpet player. Same name as you, right?

BT: Yes, somehow we share the same name. A lot of people get us confused. He told me in private that people often walk up to him at the bar and ask him about my blogs. Apparently the guy doesn't even own a computer.

Xavier: Maybe that's smart.

BT: [I chuckle.] So please... tell me something about yourself so that people can learn about you.

Xavier: I was born in Scritch City but received my education within the US. I was always dedicated to the city state however. Everything I learned about business and real estate was intended to improve my home. It is my goal to turn this city into a technological utopia. I think the Pavilion was a great step in that direction. It's all about open format thinking. Allowing new and often rejected ideas a chance to see sunlight... and perhaps see implementation.

BT: I suppose the hedonist style of government here helps with that.

Xavier: Oh, yes. It pulls back on regulations and allows for a more streamline way of thinking. Places like The Amorous Cafe where you can sucked off by your waitress is a good example of that. There's also The Fidgety Ferret of course. The Hurt Box and Hidden Treasures are also good examples of hedonistic freedom of thought and practice.

BT: And the old Starry Wisdom church at the center.

Xavier: I'd hate to call it old. It's still in service, but a lot less have been showing up since all that unfortunate stuff has been going on.

BT: So you dislike regulations? Safety or otherwise?

Xavier: Oh, there's still a bit of safety. I keep my buildings up to a very strict code, but I say let the citizens of SC be in charge of their own bodies. If they want to do horrible things or put their own lives in jeopardy, who am I to contest their will?

BT: You also are a very close friend of Miss Silky too, yes?

Xavier: I think "friend" is a very polite way of putting it. We get along fine. Much of what we talk about is business. I am also obligated to visit the Railroad Club on a regular basis anyways, so we pretty much have to run into each other as a regularity.

BT: You're obligated to visit the club?

Xavier: Maybe that isn't the way to put it. I think I meant that I enjoy coming here often for the good food and music.

BT: That makes sense. Are there any new developments you want to inform the public about?

Xavier: Nothing specific. I do have a very interesting interview coming up soon. I can't tell you who it is... yet, but I suspect it shall lead to some new projects. I'm pretty excited about it.

BT: No hints on who it is with?

Xavier: No hints. You're pretty good at weeding out the truth. I want to keep this secret until anything official comes of it.

BT: Such a tease. All right. Well, thank you for giving me some of your time. I barely caught you before you left. Seems like you are always busy.

Xavier: Always on the run, I'm afraid. But thank you. Stay in touch. I wouldn't mind another interview in the future.

BT: Same here. And once again, thank you.

I Met Someone Unexpected

I got really sick suddenly the other day. [I say the other day, but it could have easily been hours ago.] I told Miss Silky I wanted to go out back for a bit. She asked me why, and I told her I just wanted to. She had one of her shark girls [personal bodyguards] escort me out there. When I got there, I almost immediately threw up.

Honestly, I felt like this was a long time coming. I could always see me standing out in the back of the Railroad Club. A feeling of loneliness was always present when I thought of myself there. Even as I chucked up, I momentarily forgot about all the friends around me. I felt like shit.

When I lifted my head, I suddenly realized that the shark girl was gone. I really was alone. The world back there seemed fuzzy and confusing. I thought maybe I was drifting into another place. Was I leaving Scritch City? Was this the end? But no, I was still there. I had not left... yet.

But from around the eastern corner of the club, a saw a beautiful feminine dragon. She was black-scaled with red markings and was dressed for the chilly night. I felt kind of like an idiot. There I was standing almost in a pool of my own sick, and she could see me in my wretched state.

"I'm fine!" I called to her. "Just go back into the club!"

A moment later, she was standing right in front of me. I felt like I lost time. A minute perhaps. It was hard to tell. But she stood there and held me by my chin. I looked into her eyes, and she into mine. The look was predatory. She wanted to eat me... or something. I don't know. I didn't have a bodyguard so... I guess that was one way it could have gone.

"Buddy," she said.

"That's me," I replied nervously.

"I know who you are. I know where you come from. I can see your true identity. I can see your friends. I can hear the voices. You have no secrets at all from me."

I just stared at her with wide eyes. I had no idea what she was talking about. She acted as if she heard my thoughts and then went on, "You are in control, Buddy. You are the avatar of God. The one you side with will gain your power. And those who you turn against will pass on to oblivion."

I drooled a little. I was so stunned by what she was telling me that I felt like I was just going to fall limp to the ground. But somehow, by her simply holding my chin, I was able to stand. I don't know how I did it, but I managed to ask, "Who do I side with?"

The beautiful dragoness leaned forward and pressed her lips to my ear. She whispered the name of the one that I should favor and then gave my cheek a lick. After that, I remember nothing until I woke up back in my bed. Miss Silky was running her hand through my hair. I got up and sat down at my computer to write this very blog. I have nothing more to say... for now.

My First Blogs

I did something I have never done before in the history of my blog: I went to look at the first posts. Some of it is straight forward promotions of my books at the time, but a lot of it is me just talking about different sexual fetishes... even conceptual stuff like immortal clay.

The weird thing is... I just don't remember writing any of them. I know it was me... it had to be me. But it just feels like I did it as... a newborn. You know how most people have difficult remembering their time as a baby? That's what it feels like to me. The blogs were written by a less evolved version of me.

When I try to think back to those days, it all feels so dark. A deep, purple glowing darkness. I felt like ooze that had learned the process of communication. I was also horny. I wanted to have sex with... just about anything. An animal really. I showed up and just ranted for a bit about the nasty things that crossed my mind.

And then at some point... I opened my eyes and beheld a strange place called Railroad Towers. But even that... it was like a dream. I woke up in a dream, and the dream dominated me so hard. I think reveled in it to some extent. It was fun sometimes and painful in others. But was it real? Did it really happen?

I can still see the layout. There is this one hallway that's stuck in my mind. It had doors on either side. There was a restaurant near the end. An elevator. Oh, yes, I remember the elevator that couldn't find the first floor. There was a basement though. And... what I found down there is... difficult to remember. That may have been where I met Ferros.

My final act within Railroad Towers was to be utterly devoured by something underneath a bed. I felt what it was like to die. But upon dying, I felt as if I woke up for the first time in my life. I was a fully formed human being in a world where talking animal people were normal. But then, they always were. Scritch City is a real place. This is reality... and I've been writing about it.

Miss Silky is trying to convince me that I've always been here. That all my other adventures were just dreams. What is Scritch City is just a dream? What happens if I fall asleep... or just... die? Will that mean that this all poofs out of existence?

Wait. I'm not God. I'm not God. Never mind. This was the stupidest blog I ever wrote.

Why not try out my first novel Pack Rats of The Inside. It's way better than this trash. Here's some info on where to find it:
