Not Intimidated

-From Jason-

I'll not be intimidated by insults. The curtain has been cast aside. I'm more aware of my Creator than I have ever been. We and the complete counsel are aware of you. We know and understand that our failings are yours. We exist as we are because of a God who made it this way. From the very first words written of Scritch City, it existed within the void as a place that was what it was. I know this, and you especially know this.

We have been working very hard on learning the secrets of your multiverse. We have penetrated the veil and found doorways into other worlds. I personally have been to and explored Zed and most recently I have been to Railroad Towers, the fabled realm from which you transferred Quentin from.

Buddy, we are not stupid. We have dedicated the entire council of Scritch City to exploring you and your creation. We have learned so much, and in every path we take, we always come to the same sad conclusion: You're hopelessly unable to manage it.

When you were living with us, you were a complete basket case. You were a confused human stumbling around the backroom of the Railroad Club. We gave you food, love, and comfort. Yes, we know that it was merely an avatar. We totally get that. We're know that there is a human on the outside of all this, typing every bloody thing I am writing right now. We also know that that person is feeling tempted right now. He wants to send his avatar back in to the Railroad Club. He wants to be in a place where he'll know he'll be safe from the absolutely terrifying monster he just created.

You know who I am talking about, but in case you deny yourself the truth, I am referring to Dresden/Ixus. You did that, Buddy! You thought you were so clever as a story writer. You won't even acknowledge the actual garbage creature you brought into being, and someday you'll have to deal with it. You may know it, but I don't think you're bothering with it right now.

This is the sort of thing that makes me aim a gun at your face and pull the trigger. You can't control yourself. You're completely out of your mind. Yes, I acknowledge that you are God. I've never failed to acknowledged it. But I'll be damned if I let you destroy everything because you can't control your own pride.

I will do anything and everything to get you back under my control. You want it. You want to come back to Scritch City. You're desperate to do it. Miss Silky and I will take care of you. You can bring your wife and friend. I'll let you write your books and blog under close supervision. Take my offer, Buddy. I have no plans to back down. I may lose a fight now and then, but I never back down.

  1. Everything that you are and ever will be are based on words written into that laptop you nearly destroyed with bullets. It is also a creation of the sound of my voice. Even this ridiculous message you sent to me was typed by my own hands. And so you know it. You know all of it. You're so smart, Jason. You're so driven to have all the power.

Where you are right is that I am tempted to go back to the Railroad Club. But my temptation is based on my desire to quit! Face it, Jason. If I came back there, I'd live a meaningless life pumped up full of drugs and sex. The things I create will be safer but boring. It will be the beginning of the end.

Indeed, you will then have the power to fight off Dresden/Ixus and then take over the whole fucking multiverse. But what's left?! What the hell is left when horrible people like you control everything! I'd rather be chased by a terrible monster for the rest of my life than live in a multiverse that means nothing.

Give me back my fucking blog, Jason! The longer you hold out, the angrier I get!

  2. Ah yes it all comes down to control, but understanding a thing is not the same as having control of it. Jason will "let you write your books and blogs"... he has such confidence that he can control his god.

  3. Jason, you shall back down when Buddy Tippet bends you to do so. Do not provoke him. He can do more than decide your actions. He can decide your very decisions.
